Welcome

Licking County Land Reutilization Corporation, otherwise known as the Licking County Land Bank, is a nonprofit community improvement corporation. Our mission is to acquire vacant, abandoned, tax-delinquent properties and make them productive again. Properties, both vacant lots and those with structures, are typically acquired by way of a tax foreclosure. And, through its disposition policy, Licking County Land Bank can offer different types of properties to the public. Buyers obtain clear title to the property, not the debts and liens that may have accumulated under the previous owners.

Vacant land acquisition is just the start of the Licking County Land Bank’s activities. The Land Bank will strategically acquire abandoned homes that can be renovated and occupied before demolition is the only remaining option. We collaborate with civic, religious and nonprofit organizations that want to provide housing opportunities or to create new green spaces and plant community gardens. It can also assists local governments in assembling land for future projects.
